Besok adalah hari terakhir mereka tampil, semoga rangkaian tur ini bisa meninggalkan jejak yang bagus di daratan Eropa sana dan membuka pintu lebih lebar untuk band-band Indonesia berbakat lainnya.

Popcircle was a radio show which highlighted unconventional pop music. It used to play stuff that would rarely be played on the regular radio shows. Even though it would mostly play stuff from international artists, the local bands had always been the special stuff for the listeners.
Having said that, the monthly special edition, titled Popcircle Sessions, became the spotlight where the local acts would play their acoustic versions as well as their cover versions. Here are some selected tracks, documented from the shows in 2010 – 2011, presented as a mixtape for you to catch the (nostalgic) excitement.

Namun walau terdengar jejak-jejak dari Matt Pond PA, John Mayer sampai ke gerakan musik folks modern ( Iron and Wine, Sufjan Stevens, etc…) Mereka tetap terdengar memiliki karakter tersendiri, dengan kemampuan membuat berbagai progresi aransemen, seperti tiba-tiba disuatu bagian tidak tertebak mereka memasukan strings section, bebunyian perkusi di beberapa bagian juga memberikan ambience yang lebih hidup.

Dengan kualitas permainan dan kemampuan eksplorasi band ini, saya cukup optimis dengan masa depan mereka, asalkan mereka juga kreatif dan efektif dibidang manajemen juga.
