Tidak terasa sudah lewat 10 tahun yang lalu saat Mocca merilis “My Diary” sebuah album pop yang bisa dibilang menyegarkan kembali scene musik indie di Indonesia dengan karakternya yang unik dan terbilang berani. Sebuah milestone juga bagi Fast Forward Records karena ini adalah rilisan lokal pertama mereka dan juga yang membawa musik dari scene independent jalan-jalan keberbagai negara.

Karena efeknya yang cukup signifikan inilah mungkin tidak terasa sudah 10 tahun saja lewat, dan tidak ada salahnya juga jika re-issue nya dirayakan bersama-sama.

Camera Obscura are an indie pop band from Glasgow, Scotland. The band formed in 1996 and have released four albums to date

Electrico is a pop rock and indie Singaporean band originally formed in Singapore in 1996, which went by the name Electric Company in 1996. This band is still active with the present line-up which includes David Tan, Desmond Goh, William Lim Jr.

Tahun 2010 ini LA LIGHTS INDIEFEST memberi gebrakan baru dengan diselenggarakannya FestiveSound 2010. Hadir dengan line up 15 band dan dua orang DJ yang bermain di tiga panggung berbeda juga tak ketinggalan Top 10 Finalis LA Lights Indiefest 2009, LA Lights Indiefest Festive Sound 2010 dipastikan akan menjadi sebuah festival yang akan memanjakan para penikmat musik indie Tanah Air.

Dengan deretan line up artists seperti Camera Obscura, Electrico, Pesawat, Efek Rumah Kaca, Mocca, The Banery, Burgerkill, SORE, C.U.T.S, Vincent Vega, The Trees & The Wild, Scared of Bums, Nemesis, Morning Blue, Rockstar ConspiracY, DJ Steph mag dan DJ Arian13.

Salah satu line up yang bakal menjadi perhatian utama adalah Camera Obscura. Bagi pecinta indiepop, mungkin nama ini sudah tidak asing di telinga mereka. Terbentuk di Glasgow, Skotlandia, Camera Obscura merilis album perdana mereka ´Biggest Bluest Hi Fi´ yang diproduseri oleh Stuart Murdoch, vokalis band indiepop Belle and Sebastian di tahun 2001.

Selain Camera Obscura, LA Lights Indiefest Festive Sound 2010 juga mendatangkan dua band asal negeri jiran Singapura dan Malaysia. Dari Singapura ada Electrico yang bermain di jalur rock alternative. Jika melihat porto folio aksi panggung mereka yang pernah bermain di Rock The World VII, SXSW Festival, penampilan Electrico sayang untuk dilewatkan.

Dari Malaysia, LA Lights Indiefest Festive Sound 2010 mendatangkan Pesawat. Band garage rock yang baru saja meraih The Best Freaking Act of the Year in VIMA 2010 Awards ini tentunya akan menjadi penampil yang juga wajib untuk ditonton.

Satu lagi band yang wajib ditonton di LA Lights Indiefest Festive Sound 2010 adalah Rockstar ConspiracY. Jika melihat dari namanya, Rockstar ConspiracY, memang band ini berisi dari rockstar yang berkonspirasi untuk memainkan musik rock yang bermutu. Rockstar ConspiracY terdiri dari rockstar senior seperti Krisyanto, John Paul Ivan, Ovy /Rif, Krisna J Sadrach dan Richard Mutter.

Dari balik meja turntable, LA Lights Indiefest Festive Sound 2010 menghadirkan DJ Stepmag asal Perancis yang akan memainkan musik trance dan DJ Arian13 yang biasa memainkan track-track rock.
