While another indie pop band using sunshine, lollypop, summer, picnic day while Ferns using botany theme and gardening stuff. A nice theme on this global warming era, we don’t need an eternal summer with lollypop, we need more plant and tree.
A whisper voice from mr.Chang vocal all over the records give them a warm and relaxing feeling, with a soft tunes of guitars that didn’t bother trying to ruin your resting time.
This is a indie pop album, but when i said indie pop is not like another ‘indie pop’ band from South East Asia that exploite the cute voice, over jangly guitar and a massive amount of lollypop tunes. The band just put a right amount of twee components, We agree that Ferns develope a nice character for themself, We’ll surely is they still have another band’s sound to influencing how they write a song just like every other nowaday bands on earth.
In fact i don’t have much more words to tell you story about the album. but surely is this could be one of the best twee act release this year from South East Asia.
