“Would you keep yourself quiet?â€
A young woman shouted to her crying young son. She sat on a cafe's sofa with him and a nanny that was seen feeding her younger son. The kid was shouting something to get her attention as well as the younger brother who started crying. The woman told the nanny to shut them off and take them away to play at the mall's atrium because:
“I am reading an important book right now.â€
So, the nanny went with the kids, leaving the woman and her expensive-looking handbag alone. And I was there, sort of watching the whole thing from a table across her. She looked very much into the book, like the pages of its contents has been chewing the insides of her brain and she can't get away from it. So, I was curious, what kind of book that took a person's attention that much. Was it that good? Could it be a new Murakami or Easton Ellis or timeless works by Kerouac and Bukowski? Somehow I doubt it. I might be some garbage by Danielle Steele, that tear-jerking overrated crap... Read Full Post..
