The ladies from Yotsuya church had a potluck party on Wednesday. It was a casual usual hang out but since it's on Katie's birthday, they decided to throw a little party for Katie. Very nice of them. I proposed a pizza party since I'm quite into pesto sauce these days hehehe. The others brought pasta, salad, and es teler for dessert.
I did ingredient shopping 2 days ahead of time. It was a bit tricky because I wanted to have all veggies stayed fresh until Wednesday and at the same time wanted the lowest price for most quality and quantity. So what I did was I went to several shops, investigated the prices and the goods, and later decided where and what day to buy what. I went shopping on foot with Katie on her stroler in these humid summer days. The pizza doughs were prepared on Wednesday morning, were let rise at home, to be grilled later at the venue.
