Group explore unique Russian-made cameras

It all started when Tommy Hartanto met Astrid. Tommy, who had just returned from his university studies abroad, showed Astrid a Lomo camera.
It turned out that Astrid also had a Lomo camera. For fun, Astrid asked her fellow Lomo users to get together and exchange information.
As time went by, more and more people joined the gathering. Finally, the group decided to start a mailing to facilitate communication among members: The mailing list is called "Lomonesia, Lomography Indonesia".
"The mailing list came into being on Aug. 5, 2003, ... it's considered as the date when Lomonesia was formed," said Satria Ramadhan, one of the first members of Lomonesia.
Through the mailing list, members exchange information about Lomo -- Russian-made cameras -- and the unique photographs they take.
