Pepper Lunch

Merasa terundang masuk setelah beberapa kali melewati pintu masuknya dan menghirup aroma gurih yang memikat, saya memutuskan untuk bersantap malam di Pepper Lunch. Ini adalah kunjungan perdana. Sebelumnya, saya hanya pernah membaca sebuah review tentang Pepper Lunch. Konon, makanan di sini lumayan juga taste-nya. Saya memesan Chicken Pepper Rice (32K). Sementara Brutus memesan Combo Cut Steak & Chicken (65K) plus nasi putih (lupa berapa harganya), ditambah telur (3K). Pesanan saya datang lebih awal. Hot plate bulat berisi tumpukan pepper rice, pipilan jagung manis dan irisan ayam bagian paha, dengan dikelilingi kertas setinggi kira-kira 6 cm. Nampaknya kertas ini diletakkan di situ agar tangan kita tidak terkena pinggiran hot plate-nya, selain juga untuk membaca instruksi bagaimana cara menikmati sajian Pepper Lunch. Pop Circle #008: February 20, 2008 – Playlist

We grew up on the 90s. So, the edition was just about our personal and simple tribute to the decade. We talked a lot about the common things in the 90s. And it was really fun to read a person’s thought about their own 90s.

We supposed to have Twisterella on the Localism. But, something bad happened so we couldn’t reach them. It’s too bad. Their music is fun to hear.

Most songs we played were taken from the 90s.

Pop Circle #007: February 13, 2008 – Playlist

Now, we believe in the curse of number 13. Yeah, we started the show with some unpredictable hectic. The script, the songs, and the time that came too soon were the problems. Indeed, we still put our smiles on its place at the end of the show.

We used to set the topic into discussion about love songs, regarding that we might ended the night with St. Valentine’s Day on Feb 14. But there was this tragedy, a show that took off eleven lives on the previous weekend. So we changed the topic. Some people shared their point of views. Most of them showed their sympathy.

There was no Localism Section due to technical error. We postponed the band that had to be appeared on the show. Sorry for that.
