Woodhands are duo of Keytar and Drums, based in Toronto. They already catch media attention when the duo rocks Brooklyn’s hipster with Crystal Castle, these guys already flew to a China music festival, they remixed Sally Shapiro and endorsed by Yamaha. Things that specials from Dan and Paul is that they played everything live without pre-recorded samples.

Woodhands - I Wasn't Made For Fighting (unknown, 255 hits)
Meet School of Seven Bells. It’s Ben Curtis from Secret Machines and the twin Deheza sisters from On! Air! Library!, The name was taken from a TV Show about a pickpocket academy, their sounds are mixture of gentle guitars, angelic voices, something in between of IDM, shoegaze, afro-beat with beautiful lyrics. They are preparing the upcoming album “Alpinism” by Ghostly International.

With a well produced records, you’ll gonna love them too, if you already hooked yourself to DM, Wolfsheim, and another synth-goth-industrial-rock kind of band.

The next legacy of one of Indonesian rock icon. They play modern rock, hard, distorted, and a bit of transsexual. Something in between of Silverchair and Placebo with maximum distortion plus Japanese rock cosplayer. Even if the frontman dressed up and using make up like a drag queen, but the music trying so hard to be as ‘macho’ as it could.
The band just recently released an album, the successful launching was done a couple weeks ago at the Rock cafe, Kemang, Jakarta. Find and buy it at local record store.
The Walkmen band rock asal New Yorkyang di Indonesia dikenal dengan album “Bows and Arrow” dan single “The Rat”, belum lama ini mengumumkan akan menyumbangkan hasil penjualan album terbaru mereka, yang dijual melalui website www.amiestreet.com untuk yayasan Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Monkey Business a Jogjakarta based punk band, with a name taken from Skid Row’s song. They sing with off pitched voice, with raw guitar distortion (sometimes acoustic), under the influence of Social Distorsion, MxPx, Bad Religion, NOFX,Tiger Army,The Living End,Green Day.
Not a real good punk band, but not so bad either.

Of Montreal put his new single “Id Engager” a funky and amusing song with the touch of disco. This song is their premiering single for the upcoming album “Skeletal Lamping”. I got this information from “The Yellow Stereo” while the single itself premiered at “Pitchforkmedia“. Try it.
The five-pieces sweet-voiced-power-pop band, started as a duo, and now you can see six people in the line-up (Priscii (PJ), Ario (The Adams frontman), Hasief, Ghyan, Echang and Gigih). . They said they were mainly influenced by Rooney, The Adams, Locksley and The Cardigans.
