Walaupun dicela diberbagai kesempatan karena ‘emo’, untungnya mereka lebih memihak pada para fans-fans mereka yang masih menginginkan anthem-anthem patah hati yang bukan berasal dari selera ‘mainstream’.

Today is the day Everybody Loves Irene to release their second album “On Second Thought, I Might Wanna Change Some Things”. The album directed by J.Vanco who were also responsible for the production of Sore and Efek Rumah Kaca. The album itself contain 9 English songs and 1 Bahasa Indonesia song, a recycled Planetbumi single, titled “Lagu Rindu”
Today, to celebrate the album released in 08.08.08 they are streaming a launching video, and also a live performances video at their website. And to campaign their slogan “Sharing is not stealing” they’ll shares the songs to every bluetooth devices that accepting their songs on the street. Everybody Loves Irene - Rindu (unknown, 269 hits)
The next legacy of one of Indonesian rock icon. They play modern rock, hard, distorted, and a bit of transsexual. Something in between of Silverchair and Placebo with maximum distortion plus Japanese rock cosplayer. Even if the frontman dressed up and using make up like a drag queen, but the music trying so hard to be as ‘macho’ as it could.
The band just recently released an album, the successful launching was done a couple weeks ago at the Rock cafe, Kemang, Jakarta. Find and buy it at local record store.

Monkey Business a Jogjakarta based punk band, with a name taken from Skid Row’s song. They sing with off pitched voice, with raw guitar distortion (sometimes acoustic), under the influence of Social Distorsion, MxPx, Bad Religion, NOFX,Tiger Army,The Living End,Green Day.
Not a real good punk band, but not so bad either.
