My name is Zacka Abi Burdah. I’m now 21 years old. I’m currently studying in multimedia, advertising, and broadcasting. I’m majoring in broadcasting and I will graduate in about a year and a half.

In musical experience, I am very much influenced by Jimi Hendrix, Cream, and Kraftwerk. In the beginning of 2006, I started and facilitate myself with 8 bit music-related, in order to produce 8 bit music.

Since last year I acquainted with 8 bit music gadget particularly gameboy. I chose 8 bit music and gameboy as my specialty because I’m challenged with the unique sound of 8 bit music. Unlike any other music, 8 bit music has its limitations in order to produce better sounds. I want to break the limitations that barred the 8 bit music from the others by expanding the quality of the sounds and make it more easy listening so it’s easier for the general people to absorb.

2. WHY 8 BIT?
   I found that 8 Bit music is very much challenging, through out the aspect of the music itself or the way to produce such music from a gameboy particularly. I found that 8 Bit music is unique from the musical perspective, and I would say that 8 bit music is nostalgic. Hey, who doesn’t know about super Mario bros or Nintendo as their favorite game console back then?

4. FUTURE PLAN
   My biggest reverie would be communities. Communities as in 8 bit music, and I would love to gain the entire 8 bit music maker, or the fans itself to assimilate in one bowl of music. Everything about 8 bit music, visuals, arts, pixel art, etc. I want every people to acknowledge that 8 bit is not just a game, and I would rather define it as “art”. Call me a dreamer, but this is what I want for the next two to three years again.
5. MESSAGES
   Don’t be afraid to try new things, and limitation is nothing. Find something new, that no one has ever thought of it before.
